Northern Giant Adventures has secured an area in the interior of British Columbia to conduct a select amount of moose hunts each year. Our guides have extensive experience guiding moose with more than a decade of professional guiding under our belts. This area is located south of Vanderhoof, BC and has a good population of moose. The average size of bull moose harvested in this area is around the 38" 3 1/2yr old bull. We occasionally break the 50" mark, and often will harvest a 45" plus bull, but by far the most common is the 38" bull. These moose normally weigh around 1000 lbs. 12oo lbs is on the larger end of what we have harvested in  the past. These hunts take place during the rut. If you are looking for an affordable moose hunt with good odds at success (around 70% average) give us a call. We would love to take you on your next adventure.
